  2. Egg on its side: transposition of great arteries
  3. Boot-shaped : hypoplastic L heart syndrome
  4. Sunburst sign: osteosarcoma
  5. "Sunset" sign: hydrocephalus
  6. Bird beak: malrotation with volvulus
  7. Target sign: intussusception
  8. claw sign: intussusception - seen at the intussuscipiens/intussusceptum junction on plain Abd XR
  9. boot-shaped heart was with TOF

voulvulus and intussusception

1."corkscrew appearance" in GI contrast series under fluoscopy-Mid gut volvulus

2. "coiled-spring" appearance of the telescoped bowel in Barium enema-Intussusception

Presentations are differeent in two conditions

1. an acute onset of bilious emesis and abdominal distention. Blood-stained stools indicate bowel ischemia-most common in children younger than 1 month of age-Vouvulus

2. paroxysms of irritability and colicky pain associated with current-red jelly stools-Intussusception
