Hello everyone
I need some help concerning this question:
"An antrectomy may cause:
1) Pernicious anemia
2) Achlorhydria
3) Decreased levels of gastrin
4) Hypoalbuminemia
5) Increased levels of CCK"

I know that an antrectomy will obviously lower gastrin levels. But the question uses "may" so I thought of answer number 2. (lower gastrin means less acid)
What do you think?

To answer your question, answer number 2 is wrong because Achlorhydria is a term which means complete absence of stomach acid. Now if the option would have been "hypochlorhydria" that would have been a different thing. Therefore the only possible option is decreased level of gastrin
