Hi..I just joined the forum today amid all the anxiety regarding my credentials and my chances for the 2015 match. Here are my scores:
step 1: 246
Step 2 ck: 238 (messed this up completely; really depressed)
3 month electives and 2 us lor's
I want to apply in pediatrics...non-us img and need visa
Can anyone guide me about my chances? Is my step 2 ck score too low?
I am currently preparing for step 3 now.

8 points are nothing in the grand scheme of things!
Your step 1 score is solid and YOG is still fresh!
You will be just fine - work on your CV now

your scores are great!!!!! dont worry! surely scores are not ultimate deciding factor. try acing the ivs! work on clinical observerships, you'll be great!

Your profile is great..for pediatrics as well as IM..There is no difference between a 238 and a 248 if you want to get into pediatrics..good luck..!!
