am 2011,April pass out and having step 1 In April-May.CS in June end and probably will give CK in Aug end.I have plan for a month of observership in Sept and apply on the last Day of Sept...as I cannot be ready by 15th Sept...The schedule is kind of very hectic but I am trying my best .On the other hand I am probably gonna get green card around May-June in 2016 if everything goes fine .So If I apply in 2016 Sept I can apply with Green card and of course can apply with research experience , step 3 and more usce...But my date of graduation would cross the 5 year cut off or not I am not sure...People say old graduates do not get matched. So in this scenario which option has more probability for matching in Internal medicine?.. But I am just clueless. Please advice me on this.

yes because I got married in 2013 and came here.I did not have plan for usmle before...Then I had some surgery ..for which I had to cancel my last step 1 appointment...But I am very hard working ..and can do that this time...So I am asking for sugestion. Please advice that out of this two scenarios which one has better chance?

My single most best advice is do step 1, If you're not prepared start studying for it, plan a date and do what you got to do, otherwise you will be speculating and postponing and eventually go into the dilemma of planning and not doing and then planning and eventually not doing. Once step 1 is out of your way everything else melts like ice in a summer day.

P.s. Don't concern yourself too much about planning these details remember Perfection means doing NOTHING
