A 36 years HIV positive man presented with classical symptoms of pneumonia. Chest X ray showed bilateral consolidation. Organism cultured from the sputum was lysed by ethylhydocupreine (optochin).
What is the most likely infecting agent?

A- Streptococcus agalactiae
B- Streptococcus pneumoniae
C- Streptococcus viridins
E- Staphylococcus aureus
E- Staphylococcus epidermidis

b)strep.pneumoniae. optochin sensitivity..its m.c cause of pneumoniae EVEN in HIV pt.
