E??

contribution from prostate includes....
Acid phosphatase, fibrinolysin , zinc, citric acid, prostate specific antigen, proteolytic enzymes......so i would go for E zinc...

contributions from other organs....
Testis=spermatozoa

Seminal vesicle=amino acids, citrate, fructose, flavins, enzymes, protiens, vitC, phosphorylcholine & prostaglandins.....

Bulbourethral glands=mucus , sialic acid, galactose...

i ll go with E.Zinc is major component of sperm during ejaculation and can impact sperm mobility
Choice E.
Nuclear condensation is further stabilized by zinc, which is an important constituent of the prostate gland secretion. Zinc is secreted from the prostate and is bound to metallothionein. Zinc-mediated final stabilization of the sperm chromatin occurs after ejaculation.

E it is - does anyone know what acyl carnitine does?
it is one of the intermediate in fatty acid metabolism right???
Right - but I mean what, if anything, does it have to do with the prostate?
its helps in some cases of male infertility mainly in varicocele

it improves the quality of sperm

hope this helps:)

Why can't it be D?

I am thinking it can be spermatozoa, which are less in number due to retrograde ejaculation which is a common complain post prostatectomy...
but as the surgery was done Zinc and the other things secreted fromt he prostate are completely lost so i think it s ZINC
