A female in her child-bearing age complains of irregular vaginal bleeding, amenorrhea for 3 months and severe cramping pain on the last few hours. She is stable and her vital signs are within normal limits.

What is your first step of action?

A- Pelvic examination

B- Pregnancy test

C- Ultrasonography of abdomen

D- CT scan of abdomen and pelvis

E- Call the gynecologist
