Hi,
I plan to take the exam on 28th December 2010, however i have read that USMLE takes a break in the first two weeks of January, does this mean that my score will be reported to me only in Feb (counting 3-4 weeks excluding the holidays)
Also, if take the exam on 30th December 2010 will my score reporting get further delayed by three more weeks than the previous situation (as they say testing data is sent to USMLE by the testing region only on Wednesdays and 4th jan which is the earliest wednesday will be a holiday)

Please help.
Thanks in advance.

It will get delayed

The first two weeks off in January does not affect your score reporting time. However, holidays definitely affect the time.
There will be Christmas, New Year, and other holidays during this period and your will get your score results probably on the fifth or the sixth Wednesday but not until February for sure.

Is it possible to choose a Nov(2011)-Jan(2012) eligibility period? or does the eligibility period have to be within the same year?
Just to confirm this, the exam can be taken in any December, but I can't take it during the first two weeks of January. Is that right?

Thanks
