Should I be graduated to take USMLE step 2 CK?

I heard that to be able to take step 1 you have to finish your basic science years in your college (in my case the first 3 years) so that you can take the test (is this true cause I only hear about only am not sure if I can take the exam during the first 3 years)

So does it mean that I have to finish my clinical years (which in my case the last 3 years)

Cause I intend to take step 2 CK before my last year exams?
