Signing Form 186 in front of Medical School Official!

hi everybody
thank you for all what are doing to help others to be more informed about how to be ECFMG certified, you are doing great job.
i just would like to know is it mandatory for any applicant to present while medical official sign his form or not? is this mean if you are living outside your country & you cant go back, your registration will reach to the dead end &will not be proceed ?

No you don't need to be present in front of Medical School Official

No you don't need to be present when the medical official sign your form 186. However, you need to sign the form in front of a Notary Public. Your form should have two sections (One for the Notary Public and Another for the Medical School Official).
