The correct answer in my opinion is (A)

According to intense research on the prevention of Sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) the correct position is supine, w/o pillow and the mattress should be approved by the US laws for this age (not so smooth and comfy but not that hard). A great discussion on the subject can be seen here: http://sids.org/nfeaturedques.htm In brief, experts state that parents should NEVER give in to their baby's crying and continue the supine position (belly-sleep has up to 12.9 times the risk of death as back-sleep*.!)
