Not enough yesAshtak,
do you mean that Kaplan pathology is not enough?
fa 11 or fa 13? which is better??Not enough yes
but note that I didn't say it's not good
no it's good and highly concentrated
but when it comes to the fact that over 35% of questions being pathology and pathophysiology, one should make sure that pathology preparation is taken to the maximum with multiple resources
Another advice,
Great step 1 pathology preparation will lend itself tremendously useful in your next Step 2 if you haven't taken it yet
hi there..i think u r the right person for helping me out..it took me 2 years of inconsistent and irrational prep for step 1..did KLN with vidz once only ..without anatomy .and then FA twice and UW 40% complete with 50-60% score in timed mode..and also did DIT for a while but left in between..and extended my elig period from june last year to sept last year..took exam despite my low score in nbme..that was a blunder..and failed .180/73..NOW what to do????..how to approach and start prep fresh..what were my pitfalls and loopholes and where to conc more to ace this exam?????????..thanksHi Jaysingh,
You've come a long way if you have finished Kaplan Books
How many times have you read the books? did you see the Lectures also?
Now your next steps are to
- Ace the First Aid because it's highly concentrated high yield material
- Supplement the Kaplan pathology review with either Goljan RR or BRS
- Embark on questions practice, suggestions are Kaplan Qbank and USMLE world
- Then do the NBME tests before the exam
You'll do well if you follow these steps
