Hi, after completing my basic science i spent 5-6 months studying for the exam (after postponing the exam cause i wasnt ready). My nbme scores were going down. I already extended my eligibility and was suppose to write the exam 2 weeks ago. I didnt cause my nbme score is too low. Im thinking about studying again but lack the motivation cause of my low nbme score. Also, im burned out. I relaxed for 2 weeks. Then, i still lack the motivation. I dont know how im going to study cause i already studied alot, afraid i might waste alot of time studying again. Im also thinking about volunteering or working to get the mind going cause i think it will motivate me to get back on track. Any tips on volunteering or doing research. Has anyone done anything during medical school, maybe atleast once or twice a week.
Any suggestions. I know passing step 1 is important. I just can't sit there and just study everyday. I need to get out and volunteer or do something. Any suggestions.
