urine?

could it be urine?

because:
First, cocaine itself is metabolized too rapidly to be measured for routine screening. When urine is being screened for the presence of cocaine, it is actually benzoylecgonine, a metabolite of cocaine, that is being measured.
Second, as to how long it will take for this metabolite to be eliminated from the urine, in some cases the answer may be longer than traditionally thought. Several studies suggest that benzoylecgonine can be detected in the urine of chronic, highdose abusers for longer periods of time than originally expected. First void of the day samples will yield the highest concentrations of drug metabolites.

Due to these variations in urine concentration, positive test results can occur following a negative test result, although no additional cocaine was used. Many people try to avoid a positive test result by "watering up," or drinking large amounts of fluids to dilute their urine. Ideally, a 24-hour sample should be taken, but this is impossible in most work settings. Performing random urine sampling is about the only way to assure a representative specimen.
The widely accepted time period for benzoylecgonine to be cleared from the urine is three to five days. One study suggests that high dose users (i.e., 0.5 gram or greater for each episode of use) can test positive after eight days. Another study claims that benzoylecgonine can be detected in heavy cocaine users for 10-14 days. The longest time over which positive urine levels of benzoylecgonine were detected was 10-22 days.

this is y hair cannot be the answer:

Urine cannot detect current drug use. It takes approximately 6-8 hours or more post-consumption for drug to be metabolized and excreted in urine. Similarly, hair requires two weeks, and sweat, seven days. although once it is absorbed by hair, it lasts for up to 90 days as contrary to urine and blood and semen which disappear between 2 - 5 days. but i think like most cases would suggest, urine test is the best.

answer pls?

Types of Cocaine Drug Tests
The major types can be categorized into
· Blood Test: It often proves to be expensive. Blood sample is used to detect the presence of cocaine in this case. The examinee is put under a specific plan and is asked to adhere to a planned 4-5 day diet program .
· Saliva Drug Test: It's very quick and easy. Saliva sample is collected using a scrub and sent to testing. Results are almost instant and drug consumption within the last few days can easily be detected.
· Hair Drug Test: These tests are highly reliable and drug consumption within a long time frame can easily be detected using the hair follicle samples from the examinees.
· Urine Drug Test: Urine tests are inexpensive and affordable. They can be done at the comforts of your home and are intrusive in nature. The timeframe for which the cocaine content are said to be retained in the examinee's urine is approximately 3 days.
· COC Dip Strip Test: This is another type of urine test. Urine sample is taken and tested for the presence of benzoyelecgonine.
Of the several types of tests that are in vogue for cocaine detection, the most simple on is the urine test. Its quick, fast and quite reliable.

The detection times in urine are significantly greater than detection times in blood, which is also generally much more expensive. The presence of a drug or drugs in urine does not provide information as to whether the individual is actually under the influence at any particular time. Likewise, no determination can be made from urine as to the amount of the dose or the time of the dose.
