I'm still in medschool (outside US & Canada) and far from applying for residency, but I'd like to know how big a factor visa or citizenship are in terms of getting accepted in residency programs in the US:
- Are the chances better if someone has a green card or not?
- Is it the same if someone has a green card or is an American citizen, or are citizens at an advantage?
Thanks in advance.
