is this 38% or 38 what? if its 38% and u dont have the score board u can just add another 30 to it and assume u got a ~68 score for step 1. thats what one of the former test taker said. the score board is here somewhere. try looking in yr search facility. it cannot be copied from this forum i think.

Do it online

It seems that you have taken the NBME offline.

There's no reliable way to predict your two digit and three digit score from that. Simply because the NBME uses "unknown" algorithm to calculating and predicting your scores.

Seetal's formula is the most acceptable one (though it's highly incorrect).

Your average scores in the four blocks seems to be 38 which means that you have got 76% on one of the forms. If you use that formula it means that your predicted score will be 106 on the two digit scale :eek: (which is obviously incorrect).

Therefore my biggest advice for you is this;

Don't spoil the great prediction power of the NBME by doing it offline. Do the official online NBME and it will predict your score correctly.

sorry totally misguiding!! (i saw one of the former test takers post it here some months ago and ive been using it sort-of). but yeah do the online NBME definitely. because for some reason, from year to year, a 233 can be a 99 this yr but next yr u could need a 239 minimum for a 99 score. u see.. so weird calculations!! plus i got this email from ECFMG, the questions have changed a little bit.
