A 5 year female child who swallowed a coin was brought to the emergency department. The resident immediately did midline tracheostomy. Later resident observed profuse bleeding from the tracheostomy site. The bleeding was appeared to be coming from an artery of which mostly likely


1) superior thyroid artery
2) inferior thyroid artery
3) thyroidima artery
4) brachiocephalic artery
5) left subclavian artery

?????? pal u v written something u didnt mean to write....:p how can recurrent laryngeal nerve bleed :))

yup i got it!!! dat u meant that recurrent laryngeal is the most affected nerve in such type of vignettes that gets injured during thyroidectomy :)
