Hi,can anyone help me with these

1.if a transit visa is required to travel from India to USA via london/frankfurt?

2.if my visa expires eg: in august but i get permit to stay in usa till sept on my I 94 will i require a transit visa then to return back to India via london or frankurt as my stamped visa will not be valid then.

Regarding your transit visa query - I didn't require one. I had to change planes at Amsterdam and was at the airport for 8 hours. Unless you leave the airport you shouldn't need one. I'd recommend you call your airline and clarify just to be safe.

I don't see how the departure date on your I-94 can extend beyond the validity of your visa. The officer at your port of entry checks your visa before stapling the I-94 to your passport. Maybe someone else can help you with this one. I'm clueless.

DEFINITELY buy health insurance. It'll only cost you between 2k-5k for a few months. Totally worth it!

is travel insurance and health insurance different? the link is for travel insurance
Health insurance is a major component of the travel insurance. There are some other things included in that as well.
I bought my health insurance from that company the last two times I visited. Its just convenient. You could try searching for other companies which offer just health insurance of course..

Here's a good place to start - Buy Single Trip Travel Insurance Policy - ICICI Lombard
I have a better suggestion. If you will buy health insurance from getvital, it will cost you less price compared to other insurance companies.
