Hi all,
I took 7 sequential random, timed, unused blocks of Uworld today for assessment and exam day simulation. (10.30am to 6.30pm.) this is where I stand;
block 1: 84%
block 2: 82%
block 3: 80%
-break for 25mins , took snacks, and took a brief walk around.
block 4: 84%
block 5: 73%
-another 25mins break.
block 6: 76%
block 7: 67%
Average= 78%
My performance tailed off, possibly due to fatigue,I really have to work on that.
Currently doing UW, about 8 blocks to go, and reading FA only when reviewing questions.
The plan is to read FA cover to cover again (3rd time) during the last one week (got 23 days to go). then take NBME 7 some 5days before exam.
I need suggestions on what to improve on in this plan.
any advice is welcome,
thanks.

I'd say keep doing what you're doing and fill in the areas you feel you're missing material in. Those scores are awesome. You should have no problems. I'd do an NBME for 4 blocks and then another 3 blocks of UW to get a more perfect picture of your final score. If you want to punish yourself more, do the three UW blocks in the morning, and the four NBME blocks in the afternoon.

Oh and I'd start at the time your exam starts - if it starts at 10, start your blocks at 10 - that'll give you a good feeling for when you'll be hungry, etc. etc...

Good luck!

I think you should do the NBME like 8 days before because just in case, wich I dont think so, you have a low score you can change the date of the exam. Because I think you can change it 5 days before (business days), not less than that. Good luck.

@ pash,
this is my first UW subscription. started 18th nov, with 2 blocks per day, all random, unused, timed. I read FA after each block while reviewing both correct and incorrect questions.
I will say the UWorld 7 straight blocks simulation, helped a lot to know the effect of fatigue , and see how scores improve after each break i took, i also got to know, how soon i'll be hungry, and even when to pee.
Now, i know which snacks i'll take along, and even improved on when to take breaks.

NBME 7 is the ultimate assessment...aiming for that soon
