Name :p arikh taral
Nationality
: Indian
Graduation: 2009

Hello,

I finished my medical school from India and planned to do my medical residency in USA. So I gave my
USMLE step 1 and USMLE step 2 CK in India.

(1) then I
applied for my USMLE Step 2 CS exam and applied for visa b1/b2 on 8 march, 2010 to attend this exam as it is only taken in USA. but visa rejected. I applied again with same reason to attend exam on 19 March and got the visa for my USMLE step 2 CS exam. I got single entry visa. at USA airport I got 6 months stay. During my legal stay I finished my CS exam and USMLE Step 3 exam and did 3 month of volunteer/observer work and came back to India within time.

(2) as I finished all USMLE Steps successfully, I applied to university for my post graduation residency program, and I was invited for personal interview by 6 hospitals.
So I again applied for b1/b2 visa to attend this interview on 4th oct, 14 oct, 10 nov, 2010 to attend this interview and all 3 times visa rejected, as they are saying me potential immigrant.

Can anyone advice me what to do in this matter? if anyone want to ask me anything feel free to ask.

Thank you

Can't think of another way

Hi taral,

Sorry to hear your sad story.

Try to reschedule the interviews that you have missed to a later date.

Apply again to the US consulate but this time tell them you are going for tourism, don't tell them you are going for interviews.

Show them documentation that you have strong bonds in India such as bank account, family ties, properties, good salary, ...etc

That's the only way I think you have a chance. I can't think of another way.
