Dear fellow members,

I will be writing my exam at the end of March, and my primary resources are FA 2010, UWorld (making notes of every single question and explanation), Goljan 36 and 44 page notes. I have yet to do Goljan audio. I feel RR will be time consuming. Do you guys feel with the sources I'm using, I can get a 220 approximately? I'm shooting for an 85+ score.

and I also followed along with 2010 D.I.T. videos.

do the NBME 1 exam sometime this week to see where you currently stand..

The USMLE world/Goljan notes are also very good... I felt @ least for me having pharm cards around was also very good to keep those names of the drugs in my head.

Make sure the annotate the hell out of first aid though, it helps to learn info really fast

ummm, if you'r able to complete world fast, I would add another qbank if you think you have the time... it's up to you but do either Kaplan or USMLERX... but world is sufficient enough for the exam also.

But doing the NBME and UWSA is important to do and is the only way to see what topics you maybe lacking in which will help you improve your score the most.

....

I plan on finishing up Uworld by Jan 30th, and start reading the Goljan 36/44 pg notes for a week. I will most likely take NBME forms 5-7, and then I will continuously read FA and my Uworld notes till March-end.

even though Goljan audio is 5 days long, is it still worth it if I'm shooting for a score of at least 85?

in terms of nbme, i would really realllly suggest doing nbme 1 as soon as you can, Its by far the easiest one to do and its almost on purpose made to point out what subjects your maybe weak and which ones your strong in. Its fine to do nbme 5-7 whenever you want, but the first set of nbme exams shouldn't be ignored. But it seems your prep in path is good, if you have a good understanding in all of the subjects already, then the first aid prep is good enough i would say, maybe look at some high yield books and such along the way to get some rapid reviews on certain subjects you feel you need a quick review in.

NBME 7 is the ultimate predictor.

Simply take NBME 7 when you feel you're ready.
It will foresee your score in the exam.

It predicted 240. I got 241.
