Doctor A is aware that doctor B has made a serious mistake in treating a very ill hospitalized patient. Most appropriately, Doctor A should:

(A) talk to Doctor B about his lapse
(B) report Doctor B's action to Dr. B's superior at the hospital.

really B? yeah patient's betterment is the first pripority. but if u tell the Dr yrself wont he sort it out too and hence that can benefit the patient too. so if we made a mistake in the future and we didnt know, we'd have to wait till our superior finds out and then be stressed out with the bad reputation now?.. sounds brutal.
