Total preparation = 2 years
Total full time preparation = 4 months

in the first 20 months I allocated 3 hours per day excluding weekends and holidays and med school tests

During the third year Summer holiday I done the 4 months concentrated reading.

In that period I studied 12 hours per day and slept for 6 hours, of course there was sometimes when I got distracted like by the Internet, TV, my little brother, ...etc

Materials: First Aid, Kaplan Notes, Kaplan DVDs, Goljan audio, Kaplan Qbank, and UW.

Score 241/99

I stay with my friends in a busy house
I found that the best way is to study in the library, specially if the library has a computer where you can watch and listen to the DVDs
I smoke, so I take a break every two hours for a cigerrettte
total 6 hours morning and 2 to 4 hours evening night
no reading after 9 PM

How about you?

Am 100% sure that none of you really studied or studying those claimed 12 and 16 hours
Am sure you are distracted most of the time and by the end of the day you most probably making 2 max 3 hours.
Am I right :)

hey guys, thank you so much for sharing! :)

headsup: your reply was indeed a detailed one! cheers! and well done!

UAEDoc: have u taken the exam? so, how long did you study the 6 hours a day before you took/planning to take the exam? is it sufficient? thanks!

Krishna: yes, i think studying in the library is a good idea too. because i am studying in the library most of the time, except Sundays because it is closed. :( however, i still study after 9pm, or.. i will not be able to finish my targeted time of the time/ how much i need to study.

Lukasha123: well, i will say i haven't achieve a maximum of studying 12 hours a day (yet). but i hope to try it out soon. :) so far, i have a maximum of concentration of 10 hours a day (because i still have ongoing lectures and etc).

Well, for me personally... i drive to uni everyday and that makes me spend in total an hour on the road. Thus, during this time, I use Goljan audio- listen to it while I am driving to and fro.

Then, everyday after lecture, I will spend the rest of my time in the library if I have no other tutorials to attend. And, I set a target of time + how much notes I must study on that particular day and start off. I break for lunch for around an hour. Then, start studying again. Usually I will be able to finish 4-5 hours by 6pm (with a break of 10 mins after every hour). Then, I will continue till 9-10pm before going home. (Usually I will be able to finish at least 7 hours before going home.)

After reaching home, I take a rest for about 1.5 hours. Then, start studying again till I feel really tired. (usually it is about 2 hours)

So, yes.. that's how I study. :)

No I didn't do it yet, but I guess I will not increase to more than 6 hours even when the exam is near :)
