What is T2 Intense Lesions in MRI?

Guys I was doing some questions in FA questions and answers and I found that Progressive Multifocal Leukoencephalopathy (PML) typically presents as multiple non-enhancing T2-hyper-intense lesions????? What does that mean????? I don't get the T2????? :confused::confused::confused:
Maybe I am to tired know and my brain is not working good.

Yeah - I was going to tell you T2 are MRI at the T2 level but you discovered this already :)

Ohh - I think I should have read the whole explanation on wiki first... now I feel stupid... I've got to get me a couple of weeks at Radiology too :)
