Here you go

When you increase the cut-off value (e.g saying that 140 mmHG is hypertension and not 120 mmHG) you then will be more sure of your diagnosis (more spcific) but you you'll miss many who might have hypertension (120-140 values) and therefore (less sensitive) and you will have better positive predictive value as you decreased the fals positives. :eek:

Reverse what I said above for when you decrease the cut-off value :p
