Hi,
I'm an IMG from India, planning to take my step 1 in 6 months. I have just begun my prep and I'm confused about how to use the kaplan lecture notes most efficiently.Which of these is the best method?

1. Read the notes for a chapter--> See the video--> Make your own notes for what you forgot or mark it in the lecture notes---> Do questions from the lecture notes
or
2. See the video-->make simultaneous notes(if at all)---> Read the Kaplan lecture notes---> do the questions
or
3. Something else entirely

Also should I do the first aid along with the videos or after having completed all the subjects? (although the ideal method is to do it along with the theory classes in first and second year, i didnt know it at that time, so i couldnt)

And is it necessary to read the textbooks after seeing a video or are the lecture notes enough?

Reading notes then watching the video does take a longer time but saturates the information better then watching the video then reading.

In all honesty it just gets really awful reading then watching the video. Just watching the video then reading makes it more fun and tolerable.

Do FA along with the book you're doing.
