I haven't gotten any interview through ERAS.
Now the NRMP writes me an email saying there's a ranking deadline...What am I to do? I mean, what match should I do if there's nothing to choose from??
We sorry to hear that you haven't got interviews, that must be painful.
NRMP sends that email to all match participants regardless of whether they were interviewed or not (because they don't know whether you had interviews or not).
But if you have got no interviews then you should not rank any program. Ranking is for people who got interviews only, at least one interview.
Would tell us more about your profile we may be able to give some recommendations on how to increase your chances of a match next year.
Also you still have a chance of applying to Scramble match, here's a paragraph from this year's ECFMG emails: The Post-Match Scramble is a two-day period during which applicants who have not matched to a training position attempt to obtain a position that has not been filled through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP), or the "Match." The 2010 Scramble begins on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at 12:00 noon, Eastern Time in the United States, when the list of unfilled positions is released by the NRMP, and ends on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at 12:00 noon, Eastern Time in the United States. In order to access the list of unfilled positions, you must be registered with the NRMP by the NRMP's Late Registration Deadline of February 24, 2010.
