In my opinion is that the first thing to do is to register for the USMLE, because when you pay those hard earned dollars you will feel the obligation and do the exam and study hard
It will take 6 months.I was wondering how much time does it take for my papers to be processed by the ECFMG from the time I submit them to the time I book my seat in the Prometric center?
WTH??? 6 months..? People say you register 2 months before your eligibility period..so how does it tske 6 mths to be processed ??It will take 6 months.
To be on the safe side, start the process six months before. It will never harm you if you finish it in 2 months, but if you start registering 2 months before and then things get delayed (like your college sent the wrong papers or the ECFMG has got delays in processing, ...bla bla) then you will be in deep (sh.....tt)WTH??? 6 months..? I registered it early midway through, but then pushed my date a month forward. But I'm glad I did it early because the spots filled up and I would have been ok taking it on the original date but a good time opened up a month later so I decided to switch. I guess it depends on the area, some places are hard to find a good test site that has ideal times if you want to take it in the SpringWhen is the right time to register? Is it OK to do it when I'm half way through the preparation, or before starting the prep, what do you think about it?
