This is exactly the problem I faced when I's prep for step1.
You have to do questions
start doing Kaplan qbank subject by subject for example
you finished 2nd review anatomy, start doing kaplan qbank only anatomy
then you finished 2nd review biochemistry, start doing kaplan qbank anatomy and biochemistry
so when u finish all books second time you'll see yourself doing everything in kaplan qbank.

don't worry about forgetting, most important is the questions

i had started doing kaplan pathology after finishing 2nd reading of pathology. ................did 100 questions and i got 50% score ............what do u guys think about it?....................my aim is to complete my step 1 as soon as possible...........should i start reading first aid as well............???will i be able to complete my preparataion in 2-3 months...........need some tips to increase my speed of studies........as after that i want to do my CS AND CK and want to apply for coming match.

If you increase your speed you will not get high scores. If you want high scores follow what steptaker told you. If you don't care about your high scores then I say keep doing questions from Kaplan Qbank and UW and forget about FA and Kaplan third reading.
