I would like to practice some questions after reading each chapters in Kaplan Biochem (and before doing online UW / Kaplan ).

Can anyone suggest the best question book for USMLE style questions ?

I searched over internet and I found 3 books

1.Pretest Biochemistry : 500 qns

2.BRS biochemistry (doing questions only) : 800 qns

3.Lippincott's illustrated Q &A Biochemistry : 400 qns

My idea is to score better in online UW / Kaplan.

So, will you recommend practicing USMLE Style qns before doing UW ?

Or can we go straight into UW instead ?

Kindly suggest me the best book

Got answer in a different online forum

" Pretest biochemistry is useless. Don't waste time. Pretest series in general will test you on things that are very much recall and a lot of questions that you will see are plain bizzare and/or have nothing in common with current USMLE-type questions.

BRS biochem questions are more USMLE-style. It is the best of those 3. If you need more questions and up for quite a bit of recall stuff, then Lippincot questions are not bad either. GL "
