Hi!
I am an IMG, and I am looking forward to give step 1 in July.
Do I have to get it attested directly from my medical school or should I send it to ECFMG who by itself can send it to my med school for attestation?

Here's How

You get it signed by notary public (if there's a notary public section in it)
Then you send it to your medical school
Then your medical school should sign it
Then your medical school should return (mail it) back to ECFMG directly, if you send it to ECFMG they will reject it.

What about form 183 for students ? does it require what is called notary public ? By the way, may explain me "Notary Public"

Students enrolled in schools that do not participate in EMSWP, have to sign Form 183.
Form 183 does not have a notary public section, it's signed by the medical school official only.
