Guys I need some advice with preparation for USMLE 1.

My exam is by the end of January. Right know I'm doing Kaplan Qbank, I have done 46% of the questions random mode and timed with an accumulative of 68%. I really want to do UW but I don't know if I will have enough time to finish Kaplan Qbank and do UW by the exam because I can only manage to do 1 block a day, I can't do more even if i try hard. I study aprox 10 to 12h a day. What sholu i do?????????????:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Calculate your pace

Calculate your pace from now until January and see if there are enough days (at a pace of one block per day) to finish both.

If there aren't enough days in your schedule then I suggest you leave Kaplan Qbank unfinished and switch to USMLE World in time so that you finish it before the exam. (UW is more important than Kaplan Qbank).

You should try and leave some time to go over your mistakes on the UW bank as well - so I'd say if you have 3 more months left maybe leave 3 weeks at least. 1 block per day should be about 2 months to finish UW so you should still be fine to leave a month to go over stuff.

Check out this thread for NBME forms - do all of them if you can, but at least 4,6 and 7 for sure...

Two or three days before the exam is more than enough to review your notes and to take a break during the last day.

The more NBMEs you take the better prediction of your score you'll have.
As to which one is best, please refer to this poll
