Is there a substantial benefit , if one applies for residency the same year s/he graduated , compared to one year after graduation

I am 3 years YOG and haven't experienced any lack of interviews. I have double 250s, they are not considered to be stellar. As long as The rest of your CV looks fine USCE-wise and you have nice LORs you will be fine with a gap below or equal 3 years
