Default Programs offering Externships

Hello everyone!

Is someone aware of the programs out there that offer externships to IMGs who have already graduated?
Please share the program names if you know of any; will be of huge help to those who are applying.

Thanks!

I understand the search for programs all too well. I ended up going with a paid company for rotations and they were very up front with me -- the LOR was completely based on how well or not well I performed during my rotation. The educational curriculum was quite intense and it was a rewarding experience.

After I completed my rotation, I received strong LORs which did not mention the paid service I went with at all. In my case, no interviewer would have know or will ever know that I organized my USCE through a paid service unless I voluntarily disclosed that information - which I did not!

If you PM me and I can connect you with the coordinator who helped set up my rotations

Default No programs

I don't think so any program offers externship as they have contracts with AMG and carrb. Schools. There is no space for IMGs.
Usually IMGs go through paid externship and end up paying a lot.
I paid about min of $1100 - max. Of $2300 for 4 week rotation.
It depends on a company who you are working with, some may negotiate and and some will stick to their cost.
If need more info. E mail me at: [email protected]

How can there be no space for IMGs if you were able to pay? This post does not make any sense considering I was able to gain usce through a paid company. It seems that you are working for someone, I think stepaheadimg! Stop tricking our community.

What I meant by no space for Img is usually IMG don't get into university affiliated hospital and end up in clinic based location.

It's not the first time I heard that I am working for some company. Doesn't matter to me or hurt me in any way!

If anyone need an opinion on the forum I will post! I don't only promote one company I have extrned with Chicago clerk ships, residency cube, stepaheadimg , americlerckships, and few others as well and now you can stay up thinking all night who I worked for. While I just share my experiences.
Good luck!
