Vast majority of people are accepted 60 to 30 (and maybe 45-30) days before the elective starts, so patience...

did you apply for 1 or 2 electives?

I wonder if they reply at the same time if you applied for 2 consecutive electives or if they are processed separately!

and she told me that regardless of the result (if we get accepted or not) they will send an e-mail

That's sad to hear that despite such great score they couldn't accommodate you. Did they give any reason for rejection? Approximately how many months prior did you apply? I've applied for the same electives for April so was curious to know.

Like 35 days before I think. Just wait until 30 days before and you can also send them an e-mail!

Hi everyone.
I hope someone is active on this chat to answer me.
I am a final year medical student from pakistan and I applied for electives for May/June 2017 at Cleveland Clinic.
I applied back in early October 2016.
My step 1 score is 260.
My toefl score is 116. (Reading and listening 30, Writing 29 and Speaking 27)
I applied for electives in Gastroenterology as my first choice in May, and listed 5 other alternative options aswell. As for June, I applied for an Subinternship in IM and listed 5 other alternative options aswell.

I sent them all the documents required except for the copy of the visa and health/malpractice insurance which i told them that i would send upon acceptance.
Can anyone tell me how much of a chance do I have of getting accepted?

Hey did you get in? If yes and if you rotated, how was your experience?
Thanks.
