I am from india, I am planning to go for elective in nov and dec 2013. I will give my step 1 on 15th may 2013. I have not given toefl. I have certain doubts about aplying for clerkships. Most of the people in forums are suggesting to start aplying for clerkships before 1 year of plan dates. So,

1. What are the things I hav to do at this moment?

2. in this month, Is it possible to apply for next academic year?

3. If so, to which univ. I have to apply?


Pls share your experinces of applying early for clerkships and please guide the people like me through correct way to attain success.
