Default About LORs

Hello

If I'm planning to apply for residency in 2023 and want to do an elective in 2020 while still a student. Will the LOR be considered old? What can I do about that? Should I abandon the elective and hope for an externship after graduation?

No it will not be considered as old LOR, because you have gained the rotation during when you are a student. It wont be a problem you can use that LOR.

I see. Could you please tell me if FIU elective is worthy or it's just a waste of time? I'm still reluctant to apply!
