Hey guys i am an IMG. I would like to pursue my carreer in General surgery to only which I have been exposed to, during my medical school. And also cardiothoracic surgeryWhere I was given a chance to observe stent placement and bypass surgeries so I am interested in cardio too. But, Had I been exposed to Plastic surgery, urology, GI surgery, vascular surgery( except for the bypass and the stent I haven't seen any before), Transplant surgery who knows where my interest would have been? Can anyone throw some light on my confusion about what more knowledge or insight do I need to pick up my choice of interest(field). And then, I went into Frieda and searched for the General surgery and Vascular programmes in the Eastern region, and there comes a whole bunch of programmes...I don't know which are the best institutes or the hospitals to which I can apply too?
Can anybody help me which Hospitals are good for gen surgery? and where can i get an LOR too..
