Post allantois and umbilical cod

hey guys
I'd appreciate if someone could explain to me where allantois comes from and what does it do!I'm kind of confused as first aid says that it gives rise to umbilical vessels but I remember that Langman said connecting stalk gives rise to umbilical vessel!!!!!
