3 months to step1... which question bank

hi,
i have 2.5 months to my step1. do i join kaplan qbank and u world both for 1 month each or just doing u world for 2 months is enuf.... pls reply fast. have already finished usmlerx 1 month.

is joining both any beneficial than doing just u world alone. i cn devote upto 6 hrs on questions each day. wid dat shud i just stick to uworld alone or try to fit both uworld and kaplan...

Do UW first, if you finish everything 1 time, then go back and do wrong questions again. If you do all that and still need more questions, then go do Qbank. If you know UW really well, you probably don't need Qbank. No sense in spreading yourself too thin, do one at a time.

i have also 2 month left in exam same case here i quit kaplan q bank just do uworld ...

@heights plz tell me that uworld subject wise better or random ? actually am doing uworld after first aid 1 block per day with reading explanation of those questions only that are wrong and the question that i did right i read only educational objectives for that ... and adding things of uworld into f.a ... is it better or i have to make seperate notes of u.w? ...

I think it's better random, because there is so much overlap and integration between subjects, the questions usually pertain to more than one subject. I think the way you're doing it is good. I read all the explanations whether I got it wrong or right and added notes to FA. Don't really think it's necessary to have a separate book, plus it's better to have FA be a main source with everything you need to know.
