Informed Consent Psych Question

Hello

Can someone please help with this and please give an explanation - I hate missing these "easy questions"

My immediate thought was A - my thinking if PT says no, then no means no

but then of course PT already gave Consent 4 days prior with her husband, and shes only backing out now bc of the Narcotic, thus she no longer has DMC (Decision Making Capacity) but bc she already gave IC with all of DUMV(Disclosure, Understanding, Mental Capacity, Voluntariness) fulfilled, then maybe D is correct to.

Thank you in advance for any help

Wow, thank you so much for taking the time to respond and post the link - very interesting read - I only read the abstract, but this line,

"Narcotic administration sufficient for pain control does not impair the ability to provide informed consent,"

would show A to be right - but still not 100% convinced lol -
