Applied to Harvard clinical clerkship...when will I get my confirmation?

I am an IMG and currently in my final year of medical college. I have applied for clinical clerkship in Harvard for the month of January. I have cleared my telephonic interview and sent all documents to them months back. Their site says that they send confirmation letter 4-6 weeks before the actual clerkship date.

For anyone who has done clerkship in Harvard in the past, can you please share your experiences about when you received your confirmation from them? Like how many weeks in advance?

What are the charges for applying electives there and what will be the charges if I apply on the basis of step 1 ? Thank you.

The tuition fees do not change if you have passed STEP 1. For Harvard a month's tuition is $4.625.
The advantage you have with STEP 1 is that you become eligible to apply at programs that require this exam for consideration (eg Mayo-who btw do not charge tuition).
On the other hand, for schools like Harvard or Yale etc you can apply with or without STEP 1. Their tuition remains the same though..

I want to ask you about applying for Harvard externship.what are the documents I need? Is the fee as mentioned above? I finished step 2ck and preparing now for step 1 and thinking of doing this externship to strengthen my CV as am not a newly graduate,,, I really appreciate any information in this field

I have applied for the month of March 2015 - waiting for the response from HMS
they said 4-6 weeks on the website & their email says 2-3 months before. By when did they reply to you guys? And hows it going there??

Do they give LORs in Harvard for MED electives ?
