USMLE practice test score correlation
I just took the USMLE practice test at the Prometric center and got 80% (though my last block was the one bringing me down due to some distraction). I am taking the real deal in two weeks. To be honest, the exam wasn't as easy as people made it out to be. Does anyone have any correlations? I am somewhat freaking out.
Hi prometric center practice test means the FREDV2 introduced by NBME to get familiarized with the real exam interface..so far there is no score correlation. But be happy that you scored 80%.wish you good luck in step 1.
Thanks for the response. I understand that it was just to get familiar with the process; but I guess the reason I want to know if 80 is a good place to be or not is because I read that this practice test is a joke and very easy ( most of these posts are from 2009 and before). So not sure if I should freak out or not. Has anyone taken the practice test and the real test recently (2014-2015) and is willing to share the scores?
