Default I got 252, and here's my tips on studying microbiology for the Step 1

Hi all,

I know microbiology confuses a lot of people and people many not know how to study it the best way to maximize their Step 1 score.

I got a 252 on my own Step 1 last year, and wanted to share my own tips on how to study it best.

Basically, spread it out over several months, studying a little each day. Review it as much as you can - this helps fortify your knowledge, through the principle of spaced repetition.

Also make sure you've got the best resources. For me, it was CMMRS, flashcards, and Kaplan.

I've shared the complete guide on my blog. Hope it helps!
