Default Positive inotropic effects on cardiac output and right atrial pressure

My book says that positive inotropic effects increase cardiac output;this causes the right atrial pressure to decrease because more blood is ejected from the heart. This is the section explaining the cardiac and vascular (venous return) function curves. Can someone explain how more blood being ejected decreases RAP? Thanks
