Default Why are lung abscess ANaerobic infections?

You'd think they'd be aerobic infections. I mean, it *is* the lung?

Since they're caused by either aspiration or bronchial obstruction, maybe this blockage of air flow is *completely blocking all oxygen* from entering the location of the abscess?
