Guys, I'm a FMG, who graduated on 2014. I'm currently working and plan to do USMLE step 1 around August 2016. To set my plan in motion, I have started with Kaplan diagnostic exam and got 55%. Now I'm wondering if this is good news, and whether with this 55% I can prepare within 5 months.

5 months is a good amount of time to prepare for step one make sure you use your time wisely.

most place say 6-9 months of prep are recommended but if you are confident that you can pass it then i would take the test. If you feel the opposite postpone the test to be safe.
