Step 1 UWSA score correlation?

I just did UWSA 1 for step 1 and got a 216.
I have about 5 weeks till my exam. I have taken a look at the score correlation calculator and graphs, but can anyone please share their real experiences with UWSA score and correlation with their actual Step 1 score? Thanks!

230 is a good score. Average in med school isn't the same as average in the real world--you're already competing against the best and the brightest, and residency programs know it. It depends on what specialty you're interested in, but personally I wouldn't postpone based on that score. Of course, my school makes us take an entire year off if we postpone, so there was added incentive not to for me.

As for the USWA, my last self-assessment, taken 1 1/2 weeks before my actual step 1, underpredicted by 21 points. I question the accuracy of those self-assessments--from what I hear, NBME is much closer to real scores and USWA can be 20 points over or under.

No worries, I totally get it. I took both, but the second one was the one that I took not long before my exam. The first I took a month before, so I wouldn't expect it to be overly accurate.

I didn't do any of the NBME forms, though I did an NBME practice exam at school six weeks before the test. I've heard they're more accurate, but I can't really speak to that one way or the other.

As for the percentage, it totally depends on what you're aiming for. I'm sure you seen this chart:

My average for the entire study period was lower than the chart would predict, but if you just averaged my last couple weeks of studying when I was pretty solid on the material, the correlation was fairly accurate.

It's hard to really predict anything, though. Some people say they get a ton of anatomy on their test, others hardly any. Same with radiology, histology, etc. As long as you have a decent base in all of the subjects, you'll do well, but it probably won't look anything like your UWorld blocks/practice tests.

GOOD LUCK!!! And if you walk out feeling terrible about the test, know that pretty much everyone feels that way when they leave and most of us pass/do well.

NBME- its value

NBME is the most important test that will tell you the score you will get in the exam . So the other tests UWSA etc have only entertainment or limited value.A logical approach will be to obtain the mark you need with NBME and then pay the USD900/= for the exam . Write on the first available date . I have not seen a better answer than this elsewhere about when to write . If you have seen a better answer tell me.
