Schwammoma and Neurofibromatosis?

schwammoma and NF

is it feature of NF1 or 2


i was doing q and there, it was feature of type 1 . but i know that acoustic neuroma [schwammoma] is feature of type 2

Bilateral Shwanoma is NF Type 2. That's what FA says.

schwannoma's found in both, but bilateral acoustic neuroma is more specific for NF2. That's why bilateral deafness is a prominent feature.

Also apparently NF1 is more associated with astrocytomas, where NF2 is assoc. more with meningiomas.

Schwannoma is a feature of NF type 2
