Default USLME Qbanks !!

I'm seeking for help regarding qbanks area, and I'm preparing for my Step 1 exam .
I've started with kaplan Qbank, and the problem is it takes alot alot of time, reading between all the explanations, reviews and taking the notes, so it makes it even hard to finish 15q in 3hours!!!
which takes you to the disappointment corner.

Anyway,I will appreciate any kind of help, strategy, experience or advice.
At the end, thanks

I don't think that you should be taking notes from Kaplan. I think you are wasting your time. Also, You will be adding an unnecessary work load when you have to do the final review before the exam later. I think you will burn out or run out of time. You should only be make notes/annotating first Aid. As for the long time bit . It's like that for everyone at the beginning. After a few exams most of the info will be stuff that you know and you won't have to annotate everything. It will take you half the time that it's taking now. Otherwise the lengthy time could be due to a lack of knowledge base and so most of the info you encounter on the Q banks is new to you. I don't know how far into your studies that you are. If that's the case then do some studying and then come back to the questions. That's my two cents.

Thanks very much. Alot of gave the same advise, that depend on first aid to annotate rather than kaplan note books.

I think you should be using UWorld instead. They are the Gold standard and have more realistic practice questions to the actual exam than Kaplan does.

I find Uworld the best out of all the Qbanks for prep... I can read and review and annotate on FA our a separate notebook for my notes.. Pretty Good in my opinion..
